We’re always trying to make your life as a podcaster easier and one of the big benefits of podcasting is that it’s open and connects people across the world in innumerable ways.
Until now, though, podcasters had to work with podcast download metrics that reset and were reported in the UTC timezone.
Not anymore.
Today we’re pushing out a release to our podcast hosting platform, Captivate.fm, that will display your podcast download analytics in your own timezone, as set in your show settings.
This means that you can view data in a time local to you rather than the standard UTC timezone, plus the timezone will also carry through to CSV exports and the one-click sponsor kit generation.
Set within your show settings, the timezone already controls the default publishing time and is always set at show level, not user level.
Pretty cool, right?!
Stay safe,
Mark
